Hey again!!! I'm so sorry I haven't been able to talk much, I just got done with this school year (first year of hs). I'm going to be a sophomore this upcoming year. So, how have you been? Are you graduating soon? We did have a few club penguin players in HKO years ago. They didn't really belong in the game, though.

I have never played Club Penguin, and don't have plans to do so. I'm curious on how HKO managed to stay open this long, despite the issues it had over the years.

HKO is dull now. On a side note, Club Penguin is closing. Its unknown if HKO will meet the same fate, despite it closing down other servers years ago.

It never ends. When HKO is not working right, players rant about it. Then they change their minds, once the game is working again.

World of Warcraft is more fun anyway. Bigger game, with a lot of servers and players, that's been around for 12 years.

Its annoying when you posted something on the visitor messages, and it does not appear. Thus why you have to remember to repost what you said, and hope it works.

Doing a bit more digging, turns out that an episode of South Park, namely Make Love, Not Warcraft, had a character named Butters playing a game called Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
I wonder if HKO was based off of World of Warcraft as both games are similar in gameplay and style, just the graphics were much different.

Seems people hated the hko insider as per https://www.engadget.com/2008/04/01/...sider-is-back/ , but it would've been funny for them to continue to cover hko alongside WoW.

I distanced myself away from my family, because of it. My mother divorced him, as he was controlling. Long story.

I log into HKO, to see if its working and to see who else is around. But lately, I've been playing a lot of World of Warcraft.
