I made a Facebook account once a long time ago just to send a friend a file for homework. Since then I've never used it, but now I have to make an account for college because a lot of projects and essays are sent through Facebook.

If the email I want to use is the same I used to create this last one, but I want to create a completely new profile, should I permanently delete my account and then sign up to Facebook again with that email? Or should I just deactivate the account? Either way, how do I do that if I can't even remember my password?
