Hitomi Shimatani. Loosely connected music videos from 2004.

    Remembrance + Love Letter

While I like many of her songs (and have her first 6 albums or so), I hate the splattering of the artificial drum sound in many of her songs including LL.

I actually have played Mirror's Edge, but its been some time.
The game menu does have a soundtrack of sorts.

I didn't like Catalyst that much.

    As for the thread:

I played the first Mirror's Edge without the red guides. I imagine those would mar the experience. I never buy games when they come out and seldom spend more than $5 USD on a game or $7.50 USD on a game + all DLC, so it'll be a while before I get to Catalyst, especially as it's not on Steam.

May J's version of Utada's First Love

    Sunshine Baby

I don't know how many of these thin Japanese are natural genetic (often the men are very thin too), but May J's appearance to me is a little more disconcerting and I think she is a definite eating disorder person. Especially in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKF-bDzLjW8 Not someone kids should emulate...

Nino Rota's Sinfonia Sopra una Canzone d'Amore (Symphony on a love song) from 1947. The first movement was taken from for his celebrated score for the Glass Mountain (1949) and the third and fourth movements were adapted into the Il Gattopardo symphony (1963; you should like the 3rd movement like his score for Romeo & Juliet). Unlike his first two symphonies, I believe this one wasn't released until finishing touches in the 1970s.

The versions on YouTube of his first two symphonies are, unfortunately, not choice versions.

I bought this CD without proper examination. Saw it was really cheap on ebay after sampling this YouTube video and just bought it. I didn't realize the same seller was selling it for $4 cheaper (I won't beat myself up over it, but I need to learn the lesson to be more disciplined). Some Asian CDs from this seller are getting marked down significantly.

Listened to it some more yesterday afternoon and it kind of just seems like (pleasant) new age filler. Maybe it'll grow on me. I did actually buy a second CD by the same artist 2nd hand from my Japanese seller, since I already had two other items from him and I get a small reduction by bundling items. It's a rare artist gamble, but we'll see...

Wu Fang - Voice of My Heart (Chinese harp music, which I gather is a Guzheng?)
