Sanrio's Show By Rock game was announced to be getting an anime adaption back in September, and I figured I should probably make a thread about it now since it's set to air April 5th in Japan. Here are the PVs out for it:

So did anyone else here watch the first episode when it aired Sunday? I would think there'd be more talk here about Sanrio having another anime.

Anyway, it was really amazing and definitely lived up the amount of hype I had. The animation was really beautiful, and it had the best 3D animation I've seen in any anime. The models were great and the animation was fluid, something you don't normally see in CG anime. The 2D parts were also well animated.

The game's been having some events in celebration of the anime too, but I guess the place to discuss that would be the other Show By Rock thread.

So, is anyone else here watching this? Oh, and just as a reminder, Show By Rock is aimed at an older audience than Sanrio's other projects, so it's likely not suitable for everyone here. But if you're over 13 I totally recommend it. It is Sanrio, after all!

Oh man, looking back at this post is hilarious with how much the anime ended up disappointing me and how much it didn't live up to the hype I had for it, lol.
